Water Main Break Forces Shutdown in Cranbrook

Water service is out for residents along the 500 block of 12th Avenue South in Cranbrook Thursday afternoon.

The City of Cranbrook says a water main break forced an emergency shutoff of water service to properties in the immediate area.

“It was an emergency shutoff and not all residents were able to be notified directly,” said the City of Cranbrook.

Public Works is attending to the scene to make immediate repairs.

City staff said water service may be down for the majority of Thursday afternoon.
