With cold weather here to stay, the City of Fernie is getting ready to open the outdoor community rink.
If the weather allows, the rink is expected to be open by mid-December coinciding with the start of school holidays.
City staff ask that you stay off of the ice until it is open so the ice can be created safely and efficiently.
The city will announce when the rink is officially open.
