RCMP reminding residents to lock up valuables

The RCMP is reminding you to lock your cars after items were stolen from a vehicle in the Forest Crowne area of Kimberley.

Kimberley RCMP officials said a wallet with debit and credit cards was stolen on Nov. 20.

They were then used shortly after in Cranbrook.

Police said they identified a man who is well known to police and criminal code charges are being recommended.

They are reminding residents to make sure valuables are safely secured and valuables locked up.
