Elk River Alliance holding Dec. 8 information session

The Elk River Watershed Monitoring Collaborative which is led by the Elk River Alliance is having its first event open to the public with an information session on Dec. 8.

The event will begin with a presentation on land uses in the valley and how they impact the Elk River watershed.

There will also be a question and comment period after the presentation for the public to voice their concerns regarding river health.

The event will be held at the Fernie Arts Station on Dec. 8 from 7-8 p.m.
