Cranbrook prepares for 2022 Santa Claus parade

Santa Claus is coming to town for a parade in Cranbrook this Saturday.

JCI Kootenay is gearing up to host St. Nick for the 51st annual Santa Claus Parade.

The parade will start at 5:30 p.m. and will start at Baker Street and 8th Avenue South.

The parade will travel down Baker Street to 12th Avenue South and then back up 1st Street to 8th Avenue South.

Born and raised in Cranbrook, they graduated from Lethbridge College in 2019. They came back for a practicum position with 2dayFM in Cranbrook, resulting in a job as the Saturday show host before moving into the newsroom. They have covered a wide variety of topics ranging from federal politics to local interest. Their after-hours passion lies in local history, gardening and coin collecting.
