Multiple trades made among Kootenay KIJHL teams

The Fernie Ghostriders made two separate trades this week and the Columbia Valley Rockies were also involved in one.

The Ghostriders acquired the playing rights of 2002-born forward Vin Jackson and 2004-born forward Andrew Karam from the Princeton Posse.

The playing rights of 2003-born forward Dayton Nelson were sent to the Posse.

Jackson has four goals and six assists in 12 games this season, while has four goals and three assists in the same amount of games.

Nelson was off to a good start, tallying seven goals and 6 assists in 18 games.

The Ghostriders also sent goaltender Reed McLellan to the Grand Forks Border Bruins for future considerations.

The Rockies have received goalie Nathaniel Glenn from the Posse.

Glenn has five wins under his belt with a 1.60 goals-against average and .952 save percentage.

In return, the Posse got Roan Girard who has two goals and three assists in 11 games.
