A Golden Rockets player has been named the goalie of the week in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League after a strong performance over the weekend.
Levi Hall helped his team to two wins against the 100 Mile House Wranglers and Creston Valley Thunder Cats.
Against the Wranglers, Hall stopped 45 of 46 shots, for a .978 save percentage.
He then put up a wall stopping 39 of 40 shots for a .975 save percentage against the Thunder Cats.
Hall ended the weekend with a .977 save percentage and a 1.00 goals-against average.
