Cranbrook’s new mayor and council to be sworn in

Cranbrook’s new mayor and council are set to be sworn into office on Thursday.

Mayor-elect Wayne Price will be inducted into his new role after winning the municipal election.

Incumbent council members Wesly Graham, Ron Popoff, Norma Blissett and Mike Peabody will also be sworn in alongside newcomer Lynnette Wray and former Mayor Wayne Stetski.

The ceremony will be held on Thursday at the Royal Alexandra Hall in the Cranbrook History Centre at 5 p.m.

The first meeting of Cranbrook’s new city council is set for November 7th.
