Columbia Valley RCMP follow up on a pair of thefts

Police in the Columbia Valley responded to a pair of theft that happened in different communities.

RCMP officials said they received a call on Monday from the owner of a Ford F150 who reported a theft from his vehicle.

According to police, a generator and various tools were stolen sometime overnight while the truck was parked at a hotel in Radium Hot Springs.

According to police, an Invermere resident also reported some missing property five days later, on Saturday.

The person believed someone had entered their shed and took an older model Husqvarna L65 chainsaw with a 20-inch bar.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Columbia Valley RCMP.
