Residents of Cranbrook have elected Wesly Graham to a third term on city council.

“I’m excited to serve Cranbrook again. It’s been an honour the last eight years and I’m looking forward to four more.”

Graham said he’s excited to work with mayor-elect Wayne Price in his different role.

“We’ve worked well together when he was a councillor and I think we can continue to move the city forward.”

He said there are some issues facing Cranbrook they need to continue working on.

“Dealing with some of the housing issues and keeping that top of mind as well as our homeless issue,” he added.

“I know that is a big topic throughout this election and hopefully putting some pressure on the provincial government and doing some leadership at the city level.”

Graham was elected to council with incumbents Ron Popoff, Norma Blissett and Mike Peabody, newcomer Lynnette Wray and former mayor Wayne Stetski.
