Fernie Search and Rescue (SAR) members recovered a biker with a suspected spine injury.
SAR officials said the crew was sent out to Brokeback trail on Monday.
Two ground teams were able to stabilize the man and move him to a point where he could be brought out with a helicopter longline.
The man was brought to Fernie and handed over to the BC Ambulance Service.
