The City of Fernie has started main line flushing to improve water quality.
Crews will be working over the next four to five weeks in the Parkland, Ridgemont, Pine Avenue, Castle Mountain and Annex neighbourhoods.
You may notice discoloured water while crews are doing the flushing.
This can be fixed by running the cold water tap until it runs clear.
