The City of Cranbrook will be doing a prescribed burn on Wednesday just north of Moir Athletic Park.
City staff say smoke will be visible from the community as well as ʔaq’am, Kimberley and surrounding areas.
10-hectares are being burned to control fuel loads and limit conifer regeneration.
The work is subject to change depending on the weather.
