The College of the Rockies Men’s and Women’s Avalanche Volleyball teams are in Abbotsford this week as they open their four-game road trip on Thursday.
Both teams open up their back-to-back doubleheaders against the Columbia Bible College Bearcats Thursday and Friday before heading to the other side of the City to take on the University of Fraser Valley Cascades on Saturday and Sunday.
The Men’s Avalanche are looking to bounce back from a slow start to their season. The Avalanche dropped both of their first matches to the Douglas College Royals 3-1, 3-1 at College of the Rockies. Meanwhile, the Women’s Avalanche are hoping to keep their momentum as they defeated Douglas College 3-2 and 3-1 to get off to a perfect 2-0 start to their PACWEST season.
Both Avalanche teams will be back at College of the Rockies on Friday, November 1st and Saturday, November 2nd to battle the Capilano University Blues.
