Construction work starting on Monday will interrupt traffic in Invermere.
The intersection of 15th Street and 13th Avenue will be closed.
Traffic on 13th will be diverted onto 15th Ave to avoid the construction.
District of Invermere staff said the detour will last for the next few weeks and will increase traffic on 13th Avenue.
Pedestrian routes won’t be changed.
