The nomination period for the 2022 General Local Elections starts today.
Candidates have from now until Friday, Sept. 9 to submit their nominations to local election officials.
The campaign period begins on Sept. 18 and will run until the election.
General voting day is set for Oct. 15.
There will be advanced voting from Oct. 5-13.
