An injured hiker was recovered by Kimberley Search and Rescue (SAR) and Bighorn Helicopters.
SAR officials said they were called out to St. Mary’s Alpine Conservation area on Thursday evening.
The person had a personal location device and was able to communicate with the rescue team.
SAR officials said the extraction was made easier with the help of the satellite locator.
