Elk Valley RCMP Seek Public Assistance in Search

Elk Valley RCMP is asking for the public’s help in searching for a Sparwood man with three outstanding arrest warrants.

Police describe the man, named John Garszezal, with short, brown hair, brown eyes, chest and forearm tattoos, and stands five feet, seven inches tall.

The 29-year-old Garszezal is wanted for a break and enter with intent, theft under $5,000, and impaired driving.

RCMP urge the public not to try apprehending the man themselves.

Anyone with information regarding Garszezal is asked to contact local police or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
