The New Jersey Devils have signed a new assistant coach, former Kootenay Ice head coach Ryan McGill.
McGill was let go by the Vegas Golden Knights earlier this year after the team missed the playoffs for the first time in franchise history.
McGill coached the Ice from 1998-2002 and again from 2012-15.
He won WHL coach of the year in 2013.
