If you notice some low-flying helicopters overhead it’s nothing to worry about. FortisBC is doing its annual high-pressure natural gas line inspection.
Flights will happen during daylight hours over Cranbrook and Kimberley.
The inspection will allow them to detect small issues so they can prevent larger problems from occurring.
Flights are expected to wrap up by Aug. 1.
