Canal Flats water system up after equipment malfunction

Residents in Canal Flats are being asked to reduce water use on Monday, after repairs have been made.

Village officials said an electrical equipment failure caused the water distribution system to go down on Sunday night.

Repairs have been made and water service is up and running again as of Monday.

That said, residents are asked to reduce water use Monday morning, such as watering lawns, gardens and using washing machines, to allow the system to catch back up.
