Canal Flats opens new multi-court

The new multi-court in Canal Flats has been painted and is now open to the public.

Village officials ask that residents only use the court for tennis, pickleball or basketball.

Staff ask people to follow some rules:

  • No bikes, skateboards, inline skates or scooters.
  • No food or glass containers.
  • No pets.
  • Limit play to one hour if others are waiting.
  • The court will be open from dawn until dunk.

“Together, lets keep this valuable addition to the Village looking beautiful for as long as we are able. Your cooperation is appreciated,” said village staff. “A shout-out to the awesome Recreation Department team of Mathieu and Dave for all their hard work on this project.”

The project was funded by the COVID-19 safe restart grant for local governments.
