Parts needed to fix the lane pool at Cranbrook’s Aquatic Centre have been delayed, keeping it closed until further notice.
However, City officials said the wave pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room are still open.
Swimming lessons will also not be impacted, and staff said they will attempt to accommodate aquafit classes in the wave pool until the repairs can be made.
“The City of Cranbrook and the Aquatic Centre team apologize for the inconvenience this extended closure may cause our patrons and user groups. We appreciate your patience and understanding,” said city officials.
