The Regional District of East Kootenay will be burning debris piles at St. Mary Lake Park on Wednesday.
They are conducting the burns before the BC Wildfire Service’s category 3 burning restrictions are implemented on Thursday.
A contractor will be on the site throughout the burn.
Smoke may be visible throughout the area.
