Phase 2 of the 13th Avenue infrastructure replacement project in Invermere is taking place this summer.
Sanitary sewer collection and water distribution pipes located under 13th Avenue between 10th Street and 15th Street will be replaced.
Village staff say other improvements will also be completed such as new road paving and a pedestrian/cycling pathway.
There may be some temporary loss of water service but residents will be notified beforehand.
Pedestrian and vehicle traffic will be closed for sections of 13th Avenue.
