Stage one water restrictions will go into effect in Kimberley next week.
City officials said the rules will come into place on June 1st. Residents with even-numbered addresses can only water their lawns on even-numbered calendar days, while odd-numbered houses can water on odd-numbered days.
Kimberley residents will only be allowed to water between 4 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., which officials said are the most effective times to reduce water evaporation.
The City also recommends watering your lawn deeply once or twice a week and avoid watering during hot weather.
