Officials with the Kimberley Alpine Resort say there isn’t an exact timeline for when the Northstar quad chair will be operational but it should be ready for the next ski season.
They say parts were ordered immediately after the fire.
The parts are scheduled to arrive at Leitner-Poma’s facility in Kelowna over the next few months.
KAR officials say experts will assemble and program the components to control the lift before they are delivered to Kimberley.
Leitner-Poma is prioritizing the repairs according to KAR.
