Don Murdoch reflects on the NHL in paying tribute to Guy LaFleur

NHL Hockey fans around the world were focused on Quebec on May 3rd. 2022 for the National funeral for Guy LaFleur. Cranbrook’s own Don Murdoch who was with the New York Rangers back in the late 70s talks about his first time playing in the Montreal Forum and going up against the Blond Demon. The conversation included the status of the NHL during that time period and what it was like playing in all the original 6 arenas.

He spent close to 30 years in radio in the Okanagan, known there as “Penticton’s Man of the Year” in 2003 and was rated the South Okanagan’s “Most Popular Radio and TV Personality” in 2015 according to Okanagan Life Magazine.
