Fernie Hosting Federal Election Forum Thursday

Election Candidates will make their way to Fernie on Thursday for another election forum, giving the public a chance to see what each of them has to offer.

Following Wednesday’s forum in Sparwood and Tuesday’s forum in Cranbrook, representatives from all parties will make an appearance at the Best Western Plus Fernie Mountain Lodge.

The public will get a chance to ask candidates questions about what matters to them and hear about each of the party’s positions.

Candidates will make their case and share their platforms and opinions on various topics.

The candidates running in this year’s federal election include Abra Breene for the Green Party, Rob Morrison of the Conservatives, Robin Goldsburry representing the Liberal Party, Rick Stewart of the People’s Party, Trev Miller of the Animal Protection Party and incumbent Wayne Stetski for the NDP.

The doors will open at 6:30 on Thursday and the forum will continue until about 9:00 pm.
