Kimberley Collecting Feeback on Child Care Needs

The City of Kimberley has opened up a means for people to voice their concerns about child care needs within the community.

Kimberley will be taking information from citizens and form a plan to address child care concerns.

It will be conducting surveys, public forums, and focus groups in order to gather the necessary data from parents, caregivers, and child care facilities.

The surveys will be available until Monday, October 21, 2019, while public forums will be taking place from October 15th to 19th, with more details to be released in the coming days.

Surveys and more information can be found on the City of Kimberley’s website.

“The community is invited to take the survey and then share it with friends to ensure we gather as many responses as possible,” said the City of Kimberley. “Information gathered from the needs assessment will be used to create Kimberley’s Child Care Action Plan Report. This report will support the City of Kimberley in setting a clear path to address Kimberley’s child care needs and planning activities.”

The City of Kimberley is partnering with Be the Change Group, a Vancouver-based population and public health consulting company to get feedback from the public about the child care needs in the community.
