Public Transit Service Cancelled in Columbia Valley

All bus routes as part of the Columbia Valley Transit Service are not in operation on Monday, following a similar pattern from last week.

Service was cancelled by BC Transit last week Friday and last week Monday due to what they called an “unforeseen mechanical issue.”

This past Friday and now again on Monday, a “vehicle breakdown” has forced the cancellation of all bus routes.

BC Transit said they will inform the public when service is back to normal in the Columbia Valley.

The Columbia Valley Transit Service encompasses both the North and South Connector bus routes including stops in Invermere, Windermere, Radium Hot Springs, Edgewater, Fairmont Hot Springs, and Canal Flats.

The Health Connections Bus continues its routine operations despite the service cancellation.
