KIJHL Action Features Ghostriders and Rockies Rivalry in Invermere

Eight games are on the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League schedule this weekend as the Dynamiters have just one game, the Rockies play back-to-back games at home, and the Thunder Cats take to the road.

The Kimberley Dynamiters play their only game of the weekend against the Princeton Posse, as the opposing team rolls into the Kimberley Civic Centre at 7:00 pm on Friday.

In Invermere, the Columbia Valley Rockies set up shop at Eddie Mountain Memorial Arena as they first matchup with the Fernie Ghostriders at 7:30 pm on Friday before Saturday’s contest with the Castlegar Rebels at 7:00 pm.

Meanwhile, the Fernie Ghostriders return home Saturday night to Fernie Memorial Arena to battle the Princeton Posse at 7:30 pm.

The Golden Rockets host the Castlegar Rebels at 7:30 pm at Golden Arena before their road matchup with the Sicamous Eagles on Saturday.

Lastly, the Creston Valley Thunder Cats play back-to-back road games as they head out west to take on the Kamloops Storm and the 100 Mile House Wranglers Friday and Saturday.
