Water Repairs Closing 14th Avenue South in Cranbrook

14th Avenue South is closed in Cranbrook on Thursday as Public Works completes repairs to water service and to the water main from 5th Street South to 6th Street South.

As of 9:00 am on Thursday, Public Works is closing the section of 14th Avenue South in order to make the necessary repairs to the water main.

Drivers are asked to follow and obey any signage in place or around the construction site during the duration of the repair work on Thursday.

“Residents in the area around the construction zone may notice some dirty water once the water service is restored,” said the City of Cranbrook. “If you find dirty water, please run your cold water tap until the water runs clear.”

It’s anticipated that the water repairs will be completed by Thursday afternoon, with crews reopening the road once repairs are complete.
