Firefighters with the BC Wildfire Service are responding to a wildfire that sparked in the Peavine Creek area, southwest of Cranbrook.
BCWS officials said the fire broke out on Sunday and is believed to have been human-caused.
As of Monday morning, the blaze is estimated to be 0.6 hectares in size.
