Election Candidates Visting Invermere Friday

The federal election candidates in Kootenay-Columbia will be in attendance for an all-candidates meet and greet in Invermere on Friday.

Scheduled from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, the public will get the chance to meet, mingle and ask questions of the candidates at the Lion’s Hall in Invermere, located directly behind the Columbia Valley Chamber of Commerce alongside Highway 93/95.

Election day is October 21, 2019 as seven candidates are seeking to become Kootenay-Columbia’s next Member of Parliament.

Wayne Stetski is seeking re-election for the NDP, while Rob Morrison of the Conservatives, Robin Goldsbury of the Liberals, Abra Brynne for the Greens, Rick Stewart of the People’s Party, as well as Trev Miller and Tery Tiessen of the Animal Protection Party and Libertarian Party are all seeking to claim the seat in the House of Commons.
