The District of Sparwood is holding a community Town Hall in October to update the public on the previous year and what District Council has in the works for 2020 and beyond.
The Town Hall Meeting is scheduled from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Seniors Drop-In Centre on Thursday, October 10, 2019.
All members of the public are invited to share their thoughts on issues that matter them and the community, serving as an open forum for residents to voice their questions and concerns.
“At 6:00 pm Mayor and Council will be providing citizens with an update on what has been accomplished this year and what is being planned for the future, discussing upcoming projects and issues of common concern,” said the District of Sparwood. Doors will open at 5:30 pm and time will be available before and after the panel discussion to ask questions of individual members of Council and Staff, leave comments on topic boards and provide feedback.”
Those that may not be able to attend on that date are still encouraged to participate but sharing their ideas or suggestions in writing. All submissions can be emailed directly to [email protected].
