There was a bear sighting near the Fernie Alpine Resort on Wednesday morning.
Officials from the resort said a grizzly bear with two cubs was seen at the corner of Megahurtz and Black forest around 10 a.m.
They are asking the public to be extra careful if they are heading towards the Provincial Park access trails from the resort including Hobbit’s Trail.
