Dynamiters Begin KIJHL Preseason as Regular Season Approaches

Six games are on tap this weekend in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL) as the preseason continues.

The Fernie Ghostriders are on the road as they take on the Princeton Posse in Grand Forks at 4:00 pm on Friday.

Meanwhile, the Kimberley Dynamiters get into their first preseason action of the new season with a home-and-home series against the Golden Rockets. Friday’s contest is at the Kimberley Civic Centre at 7:00 pm before Saturday’s matchup at 7:30 pm at Golden Arena.

The Columbia Valley Rockies are doing the same with the Revelstoke Grizzlies as their home-and-home series gets underway at 7:00 pm on Friday at Invermere’s Eddie Mountain Memorial Arena, before both teams travel to the Revelstoke Forum for Saturday’s contest.

Lastly, the Creston Valley Thunder Cats travel to Grand Forks on Saturday to take on the Border Bruins to close out the preseason weekend.

Opening night for the KIJHL Regular Season is Friday, September 13, 2019.
