Traffic Detour in Effect for Kimberley’s 4th Avenue Project

Kimberley’s 4th Avenue Rehabilitation is entering the next phase, forcing a temporary road closure and detour for the next two weeks.

Starting Tuesday, August 27, 2019, crews will be closing down 4th Avenue between Creston Street and McDougall Crescent and offering a detour around the site.

Traffic will be pushed off of 4th Avenue onto Creston Street, continuing onto Trail Street and onto McDougall Crescent before continuing on 4th Avenue.

“Please pay attention to all road signs and respect all City and contractor crew working in the area,” said the City of Kimberley.

The closure is just temporary, but traffic will be detoured off of 4th Avenue for two weeks until necessary work is completed on that specific section of road.
