Sparwood residents may see smoke throughout the day on Tuesday as a scrap wood pile is being burned at the local Transfer Station.
The Regional District of East Kootenay said the burn is part of the station’s normal operations.
A contractor with a water truck and other equipment will remain on-site overnight.
