Duczek Brothers Crush Texas Wakesurf Competition

Competing in Waco, Texas, as part of the Centurion Absolut Water Proof Tour, Cranbrook wakesurfers Ryder and Dagen Duczek both made it on the podium.

A two-day event in the U-S, the local athletes continued their stellar seasons at the two-day event in the United States.

In the Outlaw Men’s Skim Division, Ryder took home first place finishes from both of his runs.

Over in the Junior Division, Dagen came in second place in a tight competition.

Sanctioned by the Competitive Wake Surfing Association (CWSA), the gold-level event in Waco was part of the eight-stop Centurion Absolut Water Proof series.

Training out at Tie Lake near Jaffray, the Duczeck brothers are making their final preparations before competing on Lake Chestermere this coming weekend for the Wake Canada Canadian Wakesurf Nationals.
