New wildfire sparks northwest of Cranbrook

BC Wildfire Service is reporting that a new wildfire was sparked on Wednesday northwest of Cranbrook.

The wildfire located around Plateau Pit, near Wycliffe Road is currently small, around 0.01-hectares.

BC Wildfire Service believes the blaze is human-caused.
